Brooke tapped a contact of a contact who was able to get us passes to the 12 Hours of Sebring. I've never been to this race, but have wanted to go for as long as I can remember. It was an amazingly good time! The event is very fan friendly, the weather was good and the racing was awesome. I wish we had been able to stay longer, but we had to get back to our little guy. Thanks again Abbe, it was a blast!

Over the past few months we've been lucky enough to watch a close friend grow; or rather her belly has grown. I'm also very lucky because she let me shoot her maternity photos. We had a lot of fun and I am (and I hope she is) really happy with how they came out.

February andearly March hasn't really yeilded much in the way of non-baby images. Our favorite captive model is back and cuter than ever. He has learned a new favorite mode of motivation in rolling and is starting to really find his indoor voice by saying a lot of "dadadada" which of course I'm perfectly fine with. Jackson celebrated the 6 month mark earlier this week.

Last weekend we took Jackson to meet his new buddy Jack. He is about six weeks older than our little guy and had a distinct advantage when it came to deciding who's head was going to be played like a bongo. Just kidding of course, longer shutter speeds are fun when you're playing with motion blur. They seemed to have a good time looking at each other and getting their pictures taken.

Continuing on my theme of posting more retrospectives than new work, I wanted to share what I've been photographing most since September. As you might have guessed, he's 2ft tall, bald and toothless and I couldn't love him more. I'll try to stay in chronological order. Enjoy!

There wasn't a whole lot going on this weekend so we spent most of it hanging around the house. I did get to watch a couple hours (not all at once) of the Rolex 24, always a good time. Jackson has been giving us funny looks while we eat recently, trying to figure out why he isn't getting any food. So we tried sweet potatoes! Here is some of the fun:
